At United Way, we believe that every family should have access to healthy foods, particularly fruits, and vegetables.

With the passing of the federal Omnibus Appropriations bill, Congress approved a new round of Community Project Funding/Congressional Directed Spending which includes funding for United Way of Western Connecticut to launch a “food pharmacy”, a wrap-around nutrition program in partnership with Nuvance Health.
